About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented intern to join our AI research team, working at the intersection of computer vision, deep learning, and medical imaging. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research with real-world impact in healthcare, while also aiming for scientific publication.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on developing AI solutions for domains such as histopathology, minimally invasive surgery, and other medical imaging applications. Your work will help shape future products and technologies that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research in image domain adaptation and computer vision for medical applications.
• Modify and experiment with neural network architectures, including state-of-the-art models related to Vision Transformers.
• Design and implement custom loss functions tailored to specific tasks.
• Select and curate experimental subsets from large datasets with rich metadata.
• Train and evaluate models for classification, object detection, and segmentation tasks.
• Document and communicate design choices with a view toward scientific publication and internal dissemination.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, OpenCV, LaTeX.
• Ability to work independently and make informed design decisions.
• Strong communication skills, especially in documenting and presenting research findings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical imaging or healthcare-related datasets.
• Some exposure to representation learning techniques.
• Interest in bridging the gap between academic research and industry applications.
