Internship: Junior GL Accountant

Function

As a trainee/stagiair 'Junior GL Accountant' you will be part of the EMEA accounting team and work for the Teamlead Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger accounting: including accruals, provisions and various month-end closing corrections
• Day-to-day accounting activities including balance reconciliations, account clearings
• Assisting your colleagues in both the GL and Accounts Payable team
• Assist in the preparation of the yearly annual accounts and financial statement disclosures
• Support with other administrative requirements within the accounting domain, such as statistics for NBB & STATBEL
• Ad-hoc support in the finance team & willing to collaborate with other finance teams as needed (Intercompany, tax,..)

Profile

• 3rd year Bachelor’s degree in accounting (and tax) 
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
