About the internship

 

Interested in image visualization, display technologies, and colour science?

 

Join Barco Labs and help improve how medical images are visualized and interpreted. You will contribute to solutions that enhance image quality, colour accuracy, and visualization performance for healthcare applications.

 

Depending on your interests and skills, you will be matched to a project where you can make a direct impact while working alongside experienced engineers.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Develop image visualization solutions
  • Investigate colour management workflows
  • Evaluate rendering and display technologies
  • Analyse image quality and visualization performance
  • Build proof-of-concept applications
  • Support testing and validation activities

 

Who you are

 

  • Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Engineering, Imaging or related field
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Interest in visualization and image quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in medical imaging is a plus
  • Experience with Linux/Docker
  • Experience with Git (GitHub) and collaborative software development
  • Experience with LLM in development
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in English
