Marketing Data Analyst

The purpose of the Marketing Data Analyst is to unlock the power of marketing data. You will play a key role in translating contact & account data and marketing response metrics into actionable and visual insights. Furthermore, you will contribute to our insights evolution by developing automated performance dashboards and ad hoc analyses upon request of the different business stakeholders or on own initiatives. You will move the needle on some key marketing transformation initiatives such as CRM, lead scoring, ROI, customer data platform… 



Key Responsibilities


  • You develop and maintain robust, dynamic, and highly visual reports and dashboards to answer key business questions and to inform on state of the marketing database growth and improvement (marketing data quality) 
  • You track and report performance of direct marketing campaigns: direct mail, email, and web channels
  • You build out measurement capabilities using business intelligence and data visualization tools and represent results in easy-to-understand, interactive dashboards where appropriate
  • You evaluate on-line marketing influence and impact by tying customer/prospect web behavior to specific marketing initiatives. 
  • You go beyond delivering data: interpret data, make correlations, find trends, draw conclusions and give direction on future campaigns & projects. You deliver actionable insights to stakeholders 
  • You set the foundations for a complete customer 360 & for predictive analytics insights
  • You ensure correct data interpretation and usage amongst internal stakeholders 
  • You act as the go-to person for questions on optimal use of the marketing dashboard in SAP Analytics Cloud  
  • You listen to stakeholders pains & wishes as input for the roadmap 
  • You communicate & train stakeholders on the new capabilities/insights our data will bring 
  • You onboard newcomers, give training & refreshers to your stakeholders 
  • You ensure Targeting and Database Management 
  • You utilize marketing data to identify and select appropriate audience segments for marketing communications
  • You ensure data validity and work with data owners and field marketing managers to promote data hygiene
  • You leverage BI tools to refine target audiences



Your profile


  • You have a Master's degree in Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Data Science for Business, Statistics or relevant area
  • You have ideally a first experience with reporting, analytics and related processes within a business environment - but enthusiatic graduates are also welcome to apply!
  • You have strong analytical skills and a critical minset - able to build a roadmap and prioritize
  • You feel comfortable working with CRM tools and other tools such as MAP (Marketo), Web systems, reporting tools, MS Office... 
  • You are very collaborative and feel at home working in a cross-functional, international and matrix organisation 
  • You show a high level of attention to detail and a thorough understanding of how a marketing organisation operates
