Performance Marketing Expert
As a Performance Marketing Expert, you are responsible for planning and executing optimization efforts to maximize conversion rates, improve user experience and drive engagement across barco.com properties. In this new role, you will work closely with marketing, content and UX colleagues to champion our performance marketing capabilities and strategies.
Your responsibilities:
1. Manage the end-to-end experimentation process including hypothesis setting, test design, KPI and goal selection, test execution, results measuring, documentation and recommendations
2. Execute A/B and multivariate (MVT) optimization tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website performance and experience
3. Interpret web data, identify key findings, and share recommendations based on test results to positively impact user experience, conversion rates, future web developments and further testing iterations
4. Collaborate with various teams to understand user priorities and pain points, develop robust tests/hypotheses, and design low fidelity experiment prototypes and wireframes
5. Advocate user-centric design methodologies and incorporate qualitative and quantitative research findings to enhance optimization tests
6. Work closely with Dev teams to build, launch, and monitor experiments, while ensuring no interference of tests with other functions
7. Optimize our website conversion paths and increase funnel efficiencies
8. Initiate data-driven personalization initiatives to impact key business objectives and operational KPIs
Ideally, you are:
• Schooled in a related field with a bachelor degree (Digital marketing, UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, Statistics, etc.) or you have relevant experience
• Experienced (2y+) with performance marketing or similar area in a (digital) advertising agency; or in a medium to large company
• Experienced with optimization testing tools such as Adobe Target, Google Optimize or Optimizely
• Experienced with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and/or other digital analytics tools
• Familiar with front-end web design and development basics to set up A/B tests (HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery)
• Experimental and have a learn mindset combined with strong marketing instincts
• A great communicator and presenter who loves to sell testing ideas and insights to colleagues
• A terrific team player, occasional advisor, and the subject matter expert when it comes to performance marketing and experimentation
