Software Application Specialist – Digital Pathology
Supports sales team by identifying opportunities as well as support of implementation, training, and optimization of digital pathology software, ensuring smooth integration into clinical workflows and providing expert user support.
As a Application Specialist – Digital Pathology, you will participate in various activities related to pre-sales support including demonstrations and presentations of the solution as well as process analysis, consultation, implementation, end user training, go-live support. Your role includes serving in a consultative role, through pre-sales, solution design, delivery, implementation, and service to provide customers a smooth, effective and successful implementation of Barco Pathology solutions. Additionally, you will conduct current and future state workflow analysis and design for prospective customers, configure the Barco Digital Pathology application to meet the workflow requirements of customers during implementation, and provide feedback and voice of customer to the product and engineering teams for the Barco solutions. You will also support tradeshow activities and training sessions necessary to maintain an appropriate level of professional competence.
Responsibilities:
Participate in pre-sales support including demonstrations and presentations of the solution.
Conduct process analysis, consultation, implementation, end user training, go-live support.
Serve in a consultative role to provide customers a smooth implementation of Barco Pathology solutions.
Analyze customer’s existing workflow and facilitate change management.
Ensure proper testing of the system and establish a comprehensive training plan.
Conduct current and future state workflow analysis and design for prospective customers.
Configure the Barco Digital Pathology application to meet customer workflow requirements.
Provide feedback to product and engineering teams for Barco solutions.
Support tradeshow activities and attend necessary seminars and training sessions.
Requirements:
Experience/vendor experience with in-depth knowledge of pathology lab workings or experience with digital pathology workflows/implementation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build/manage relationships and interact professionally with the Barco sales team, partners and management.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Willingness to travel up to 70% of employment time.
