Product Manager Clickshare (XMS)

To support our future growth into the digital workplace we are looking for a Product Manager for our Experience Management Solution platform (XMS). As Product Manager, you will be responsible for one or more product areas of our ClickShare Product Line contributing to the further growth of ClickShare within the digital workplace.

 

As a Product Manager you are the end-to-end owner, expert and integrator of your product(s) throughout the full lifecycle. You define product innovations aligned with Segment value propositions and based on a deep understanding of the customer needs. You align with other stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You bring together functional roles to ensure an aligned realisation of our cloud solution working with IT, our development teams, sales teams and the business division.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • You define winning product requirements, based on Segment Marketing needs, product/technical insights, market trends and customer personas.  
  • You have a focus on the customer experience, driving differentiation through a deep understanding of customer needs and best-in-class user experience thinking. Represent the customer and end-user internal and external.
  • You collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, manufacturing, product owner and operations to define product requirements, customer needs and market opportunities, to ensure effective product development progress, take the necessary decisions on MVP/feature prioritization, and manage possible roadblocks
  • You prepare the next release on the roadmap, work together with the teams to deliver an increment, validate your hypothesis and increment with customers, the channel; and finally adapt both the requirements and way of working.
  • You communicate with many areas of the company, including R&D, marketing, go to market, sales channels and also key customers, helping them understand the product value proposition and benefits.

 

 

Key accountabilities

 

  • You manage the entire product life cycle from business case through to end-of-life announcement
  • You conduct market, customer and internal (with Segment Marketing) research to gather product insights, supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. 
  • You gather competitive intelligence and perform competitive analysis.
  • You analyse and report on product/technology trend; and track competitive initiatives.
  • You define, document and communicate the roadmap and product strategy in coordination with the different segment marketers.
  • You develop the business case & define business models - prepare, organize & lead the Business Case Review, in strong collaboration with Segment Marketing. 
  • You create pricing models/architecture and support Segment Marketing for final pricing decisions.

 

 

Your profile

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or MBA, or similar equivalent practical experience;
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Product Management for software applications, preferably experience with software products in the IT market;
  • You have knowledge of bringing SaaS based products to market and the corresponding business models;
  • Understanding of the enterprise solutions market is a plus, with respect to AV and IT solutions;
  • You demonstrate customer centricity and customer experience mindset in all you do. You enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer needs, and you translate them into new experiences and products;
  • You put customer success & experience first and are motivated to gather real end user needs, translate them into product specifications, verify them with target user groups and communicate towards R&D;
  • You are able to coordinate with product development, engineering and other functions for product development and delivery. You are confident in prioritization with clear communication towards all stakeholders;
  • You are a team player – willing to win together and help each other out, ability to cooperate with the different stakeholders in the organization;
  • You like to present to an audience, are good at interacting with people and are curious for new ideas;
  • You are capable of expressing ideas through sketches and wireframes supporting the designers in the creation of the visual interface of a product;
  • You are willing to travel 10% of time and work with remote teams in different regions;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
