To support our future growth into the hybrid workplace we are looking for an experienced product manager for our Meeting Space Solutions. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for one or more product areas of our ClickShare Product Line and support in defining the strategic direction of the product line and portfolio.

 

As a Product Manager you are the end-to-end owner, expert and integrator of your product(s) throughout the full lifecycle. You define product innovations aligned with Segment value propositions and based on a deep understanding of the customer needs. You align with other stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Finally, you understand how hardware, software and experience are all important and contribute to the Meeting Experience portfolio for the end customers and users.

 

Key responsibilities

 

Strategy:

  • You define, document and communicate the roadmap and product strategy in coordination with the different stakeholders.
  • You develop the business case & define business models - prepare, organize & lead the Business Case Review, in strong collaboration with Segment Marketing.
  • You define winning product requirements, based on market needs, product/technical insights, market trends and customer personas. 
  • You focus on the customer experience, driving differentiation through a deep understanding of customer needs and best-in-class user experience thinking. You represent the customer and end-user internally and externally.
  • You conduct market, customer and internal research to gather product insights, supported by visits to customers and non-customers.
  • You create pricing models/architecture and work with Segment Marketing for pricing decisions.

 

Execution:

  • You play an integrator role and collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as segment marketing, sales, engineering, manufacturing, product owners and operations to define product requirements, customer needs and market opportunities. Ensure effective product development progress, take the necessary decisions on MVP/feature prioritization, manage possible roadblocks and lead beta customers (daily mgmt., communication) supported by the Product Owner
  • Lead the UX of your product, in cooperation with UX expert teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on new product launches, with best in class product launch management thinking across the Customer Journey.
  • Deliver internal & partner enablement (Training, Tools, Demos)
  • Product lifecycle management, you own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product.
  • You measure, in a data-driven way, the customer experience in order to manage enhancements and high-priority product issues.
  • You assess and implement product lifecycle initiatives.
  • Support and propose initiatives for Services revenue growth.
  • Be the expert on the product and the market.

 

Your profile

 

Experience:

  • Master’s degree, MBA or similar through experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in product management and product lifecycle management
  • Proven track record in a product-driven organization and working on the intersection of product and software, defining product & portfolio strategy
  • Experience managing a portfolio of products across a global market and with global teams
  • You have experience as a people leader or present the behaviour and capabilities to grow into people leadership role in your future career
  • Strong technical skill set in or know-how of a similar industry or technology
  • Experience working in a matrix organization

  • Customer centricity and customer experience mindset in all you do. You enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer needs, and you translate them into new experiences and products.
  • You put customer success & experience first and are motivated to gather real end user needs, translate them into product specifications, verify them with target user groups and communicate towards R&D
  • You understand interaction design and the importance of prototyping and customer validation for a successful user experience
  • Ability to conduct market, competitor and customer research to gather insight, assess market opportunities and make the case for investment
  • Ability to coordinate with product development, engineering and other functions for product development and delivery. You are confident in prioritization with clear communication towards all stakeholders
  • You are a team player – willing to win together and help each other out, ability to cooperate with the different stakeholders in the organization
  • You like to present to an audience, are good at interacting with people and are curious for new ideas
  • You can express ideas through sketches and wireframes supporting the designers in the creation of the visual interface of a product
