R&D Support

In order to further strengthen the ELS team in the Business Units Cinema and Imersive Xperience, we are currently looking for an Engineering Logistic Support (ELS) Responsible. As an ELS responsible, you provide support to the development teams in R&D.  You execute engineering logistics activities including planning , purchase and prototype production activities and give support during the product life cycle of the products.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary logistics support to R&D teams to meet development project goals in time and within budgeted costs
• Follow up of new component creation, execute correct master data parameters in SAP
• Eensure that Engineering materials and Engineering bills of materials are created and managed correctly during product life cycle
• Ensure that necessary components are planned and purchased to enable prototype / small series production required for R&D projects
• Execute and follow up of engineering changes in SAP with respect to the process of configuration management
• Ensure that relevant and correct data is available for vendors of prototypes / small series production . Also follow up on purchase order processing and actions towards subcontractors / vendors for this activity.
• Chairman of Logistic Project Meetings
• Follow-up of new project, from a logistics perspective, until product release for manufacturing

Qualitfications

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a (semi) technical area
• You have strong administrative skills
• You have excellent organizational skills that allow you to keep an overview but without loosing an eye for detail
• You are an enthusiastic team player who has a “can do” and proactive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Your knowledge of Dutch  is excellent and You are fluent in English (both written and oral)
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office and are willing to learn new software tools
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus

In deze rol ondersteun je de R&D-teams met logistieke taken zoals planning, inkoop en prototypeproductie, en bied je ondersteuning gedurende de gehele productlevenscyclus.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Ondersteunen van R&D-teams om projectdoelen op tijd en binnen budget te halen

• Zorgen voor correcte engineeringmaterialen en stuklijsten tijdens de productlevenscyclus
• Plannen en inkopen van benodigde componenten voor prototypes en kleine series voor R&D-projecten
• Beheren van engineeringwijzigingen in SAP en configuratiemanagement
• Zorgen voor juiste gegevens voor leveranciers van prototypes en kleine series, en opvolgen van inkooporders en acties richting leveranciers
• Voorzitten van logistieke projectvergaderingen
• Logistieke opvolging van nieuwe projecten tot productvrijgave voor productie

Kwalificaties

• Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een (semi)technisch vakgebied
• Sterke administratieve en organisatorische vaardigheden
• Enthousiaste teamspeler met een proactieve houding en goede communicatieve vaardigheden
• Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en vloeiend in Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
• Goede kennis van MS Office en bereidheid om nieuwe software te leren
• Kennis van SAP is een plus
