Segment marketing manager

If you like to dive into new markets and develop strategic marketing plans for those markets, you should consider joining our Entertainment division as our Segment Marketing Manager for 3D visualisation, museums, theme parks, projection mapping. 
 
As our segment marketing manager, you will actively engage the market to identify trends and insights and translate these trends/insights into market plans that drive growth in the business. You become the marketing subject matter expert with a solid understanding of our company’s marketing framework with the passion and patience to coach others on this segment. You use this marketing expertise to develop and execute market activation plans while also monitoring their effectiveness
and adjusting when necessary.
 
Your key responsibilities:
• You make recommendations on potential growth initiatives based on market trends and insights, as well as customer discovery
• You draw conclusions from multiple sources to create insights that support growth projects
• You interface with leverage points along the value chain to identify potential product and application opportunities
• You develop strategic marketing plans and executing those plans while also monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting
when necessary. Plans cover market-facing initiatives and/or Stage Gate Projects
• You lead or support growth projects as a Marketing resource by using Stage Gate to make quality strategic choices on all initiatives; assists others as needed
• You establish and track metrics to ensure post launch efforts are contributing to segment’s strategy and performance; You provide recommendation to Marketing leaders if changes are needed
• You collaborate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders to develop and execute market activation plans
• You work with marketing communications to define messaging and communication materials as well as provides coaching/training to sales and other supporting functions in preparation for a new product launch
• You build a network and become an industry expert in assigned markets
 
Your profile:
• You hold a higher degree combined with at least 8 years’ experience of relevant marketing experience
• Having experience with marketing decision frameworks with an emphasis on trends and insights identification, segmentation, targeting and positioning as well as successfully executing plans that have been developed in conjunction with sales and other market facing teams makes you the right candidate for the job.
• You hold strong strategic marketing skills, but can also focus on execution and getting things done
• Being creative, curious, open to learn & discover new things is crucial to be successful in this role
• Your collaboration & communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with your internal & external stakeholders
• You are fluent in English with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
