  • At Barco, we are dedicated to enhancing our Software Organization with experienced, talented, and motivated professionals to help shape the Control Room of the future with Barco CTRL.
  • As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise and lead our efforts in ensuring the highest quality of our product. Your role will be crucial in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, identifying and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure software quality.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Mentor and guide other people in the team to increase their knowledge.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in test automation, with a strong understanding of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, …).
  • Proficient in Python, knowledge of Javascript is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Embedded development (e.g., C, C++, Bash, Linux, ...).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, multicultural, and international environment.
