The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for worldwide inventory maintaining optimal levels balancing cost and working capital for service ,sales and dual manufacturing hubs.
This person will also drive improvement projects with the different supporting functions, setting and optimzing KPI's creating reporting and follow-up structures that allow sustainble growth.

 

Main Accountabilities:

Inventory management:

  • Maintain & optimize inventory related master data 
  • Determine inventory levels based on sales requirements and supply possibilities
  • Monitor dual manufacturing inventory levels and provide guidance towards suppliers
  • Minimize the business risks by finding best balance between service level, cost and working capital 
  • Active follow-up of inventory provisions and write-offs, taking into account product lifecycle changes
  • Active monitoring and balancing of service, second hand and spare inventory

 

Supply Chain Projects (projects and reporting):

  • Analyse, design & implement business optimization projects with the different supporting organisations
  • Run business reporting 
  • Support Quality mgt. in red alerts and auditing international supply chain processes
  • Develop product cost reporting and Supply Chain for Software/Licence Product

 

Qualifications:

  • You hold a Master’s degree or have acquired equivalent expertise through relevant professional experience

  • You possess in-depth knowledge of ERP systems, ideally with hands-on experience in SAP MM, APO, and BI

  • You have advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP BI; familiarity with Power BI is a strong plus

  • You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, and a solution-oriented mindset

  • You bring excellent negotiation, mediation, and communication skills to the table

  • You have a solid understanding of global demand and supply dynamics

  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written

  • You can work at least 3 days a week at our HQ in Kortrijk
