Are you a quality-driven professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for healthcare technology? 

Join Barco’s Innovative Lab and help shape the future of healthcare solutions. As a Verification and Validation Engineer, you’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the quality assurance of our healthcare platform throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Design and execute test plans and test cases for new features and improvements.
  • Optimize test coverage and efficiency, transform manual to automation testing.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Document all activity around this overall QA process according to the quality standards.
  • Plan and execute integration testing for our eco-system towards 3rd party components, performance and scalability tests.
  • Design and execute test plans and test cases for new features and improvements. 

 

 We are looking for a new colleague who 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Has 2–4 years of experience in software testing, experience in the healthcare domain is a plus.
  • Has experience with support processes, escalations, good practices and QA guidelines in this context.
  • Has experience with or ambition to grow knowledge of automated test tools, creation of automated test scripts.
  • Is motivated to document all aspects of QA, the process and related activity.
  • Is a team player and can steer the engineering team to further improve test coverage and overall quality.
  • Language skills: English (fluent), Dutch is a plus.
