Web Data Analyst

As part of the Marketing Data & Insights team in Corporate Marketing, you leverage data and expertise to drive digital initiatives. You go beyond traditional analytics and reporting and provide actionable insights, with business context and impact. With analysis, dashboarding and reports, you support the marketing organization in increasing the marketing effectiveness. 



Key Responsibilities


Data analysis: 

  • Conduct deep dive data analysis across multiple marketing data sources (web analytics, marketing automation, paid search, organic search, social media activities,...) leveraging and linking data. 
  • Go beyond delivering data: interpret data, make correlations, find trends, draw conclusions and give direction on future campaigns & projects. Include business context to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. 

Data collection: 

  • Iterate and expand web data tracking model to grow touchpoint data collection and improve reporting and data segmentation, including identifying which data and metrics are most relevant to the business goal(s) of the company ànd improving the quality of the data 

Data reporting and visualization: 

  • Expand the dashboard and reporting framework for internal stakeholders  
  • Provide recurring automated reports with conclusions to internal stakeholders 
  • Advise on strategic directions to further improve web data results



Your profile



  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or relevant area.
  • Bachelor degree; Master preferred


  • At least 3 years experience working with in web data analytics (Google Analytics is preferred) 
  • Familiar with analysis methods for which you have strong data management and processing skills, with a commitment to understand trends and underlying factors in data. 
  • In-depth MS Excel skills (incl. pivot tables, formula development), basic knowledge of Google Analytics API (syntax), familiarity with SQL relational databases (nice to have) and have basic CRM tools understanding and lead funnel knowledge 
  • Understand how a marketing organisation operates 



  • Have the ability to go beyond the data and translate quantitative date into actionable recommendations. 
  • Handle extensive and complex website analytics. 
  • Broad digital marketing knowledge such as digital marketing: paid search, organic search, marketing automation, content marketing, social advertising 
  • Strong reporting skills and data visualization tool experience (Power BI, Google Data Studio, SAP Analytics Cloud, ...) 


  • You are a pro-active, investigative, and analytical team player with a can-do attitude. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects. 
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload and build out roadmaps. 
  • You have a critical mindset. 
  • Strong passion for digital marketing strategy, analytics and optimization.
