As a Customer Service Engineer, you will provide technical on-site or remote support to ensure customer satisfaction. Establish a good relationship with both, end-customers and partners that is built on trust and customer satisfaction. Provide product and system training or demos to peers, customers and partners, in order to ensure the knowledge and information dissemination (onboarding). Perform product demonstrations and assist with tradeshows in order to contribute to the products promotion.
Requirements
- Position requires AV background with multichannel projection and image processing experience.
- Strong customer facing skills
- Skilled projectionist
- Multi-channel projection experience: warp, blend, luminance balance & color matching
- Immersive venue experience: warp, blend, luminance balance, color matching & 3rd party media servers (watchout, Disguise, 7th Sense, etc.)
- Large scale image processing experience
- Barco Projector experience: operation and repair
- Barco EventMaster experience: E2, S3, ImagePro & PDS specific to video walls and multi-channel projection
- Knowledge of video path components and troubleshooting
- Matrix switchers
- Media converters and extenders
- Media servers
- Video format (HDMI, DP, SDI and resolutions and refresh rates)
- HD, UHD, SMPTE
- Strong presentation skills required for teaching Barco University courses
- Knowledge of large video wall technologies a plus (LED & LCD)
- Familiar with 3rd party control systems and JSON: Crestron
- Road warrior 75%-80% travel.
- Read, write and speak English fluently.
Education:
- Technical Bachelor, or higher, or equivalent through experience.
- 3-5 years of experience.
