Sales Director

We are currently hiring for a Sales Director to lead (and grow) our sales team within Mexico.  This individual will be responsible for driving sales in the country and will report to the Managing Director, LATAM.  The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales leader as well as serve as the legal representative for the country.  Experience in the A/V market is preferred as is distribution/channel management experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sales plan that ensures attainment of sales goals
  • Implement a sales model strategy that is appropriate for the related products and services
  • Responsible for the performance, development and growth of the sales organization
  • Consolidate sales and logistics forecasting from sales
  • Coordinate with other departments in the company to maximize sales
  • Create a 'customer first' environment
  • Assist sales executives with complex sales situations when needed
  • Accountable for/manage and interpret data entry into the CRM to track business opportunities and performance of the sales executives through personal communication
  • Management of sales pipeline and forecasting activities through corporate CRM. 
  • Manage and control quoting and contractual activities of the sales team
  • Manage processes for developing and negotiating proposals, sales quotations, and commercial agreements
  • Effective communication of the company’s value proposition with key decision-makers. 
  • Will collaborate globally with Barco colleagues

 

 

 Qualifications:

 

  • 7+ years leading sales organization
  • Prior experience establishing relationships with distributors is preferred
  • Demonstrated background using CRM and sales forecasting tools
  • Demonstrated experience with sales forecasting to optimize overall company performance
  • Experience working with global team members is preferred
  • Proficient in English (as well as Spanish)
  • Ability to travel as needed
