About the role

To stay ahead of the game, we keep innovating and growing our Meeting Experience (Clickshare) portfolio. In this context we are looking to grow our global architecture team with a System Architect, focused on audio-video applications such as conferencing bars.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the architectural vision of the product portfolio considering the market evolutions in hardware technology as well as the dynamics in the market, with a strong focus on audio and video technologies applicable in the meeting room space.
• Stay up to date with latest technology in the domain of ClickShare and advise product management and product owners on best technical roadmap strategies to follow.
• Understand technologies by being hands-on and regularly implementing experiments, working on proofs-of-concept, reviewing code contributions of others, etc.
• Scout for and work with suppliers and potential suppliers to fully map out and understand the landscape of solutions/algorithms/components/technologies and their suppliers.
• Help the development teams and their architectectural champions to make consistent architectural decisions when developing new features.
• Foster a culture where people think system-wide across software components and development locations.

Skills and experience

We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Has a broad technical experience in the domains of algorithms (beamforming, AGC, AEC, noise reduction, HDR, exposure), audio/video processing, hardware (SoC, DSP, ISP, sensor, microphone, etc.), artificial intelligence, etc.
• Has a Master's degree or Phd in software or hardware engineering, or equivalent by experience.
• Has a can-do attitude and likes to be hands-on, regularly working on proofs-on-concept, experiments, prototypes, etc.
• Has a strong learning mindset, actively tracking the latest technology development in the industry to enhance current architectures and build durable new ones.
• Has excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, including ability to effectively communicate vision, trade-offs and concepts to multiple organization levels and executive management.
• Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in AV technology and industry trends.
• Is fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Professionally proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Expertise on AI and data-engineering is a plus.
• Affinity with international development environments is a plus.
• Experience with large scale scrum environments (SAFe/LeSS, multiple scrum teams, multiple product owners, …) is a plus.
