Scrum Master

The Scrum Master will be part of the ClickShare Meeting Experience R&D team. The ideal candidate is willing to take full responsibility for coaching and facilitating the work of cross-functional Agile teams. He/she creates stable and self-organized teams with a clear and engaging direction and helps identify and resolve impediments. He/she is accountable for assessing teams’ needs, providing a suitable Agile approach, and providing Agile consultation services to the customer or management upon request.  

As Scrum Master in Barco, you will cooperate with several squad teams across different sites and make the clear alignment about dependency and schedule during the release planning of Global Backlog Alignment. It is required to demonstrate the communication skill to make different insights listened to and whole team can move forward in efficient way.  

Your effort is important for the company as you will need to filter the interruptions out and ensure the team focuses on high value. You will need to be comfortable to encounter conflicts once handling the interruptions or impediments.  

  
Key Responsibilities  

• Ensure team support Scrum ceremonies team aligned: daily stand up, refinement, sprint review and sprint planning and retrospective sessions.  
• Removes various impediments with team (including organizational, suppliers’ dependencies, work environmental or mindset related) to protect the squad(s)’s progress and acts as its servant leader.  
• Be accountable for the continuous improvement and incremental delivery and promote an open-minded working environment, squad(s) team recognize the inspect and adopt.  
• Coaches the squad(s) in the direction of self-organizing, cross-functionality and Agile methodologies.  
• Overseeing the release sprints and making sure the planned functionality is released within the defined sprint.  
• Helps the squad(s) to perform high value and high-quality products. 
• Collaborates with other scrum masters.  
• Facilitates scrum events as requested or needed.  
• Supporting the product owner arranging the product backlog to maximize value  

 
Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.  

• 5+ years of proven experience in Scrum Master or Project managers in IT/Software industry  

• Report on Obstacles/Issues in a meaningful and accurate way to management so a quick remediation can occur to move our process along.  

• Familiarity with software and product development  

• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)  

• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks   

• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills  

• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability  

• Outstanding organizational skills  

• Scrum Master certification is a plus
