Sr. Test Engineer

We seek an Senior Test Engineer who thrives on collaborative teamwork within our agile environment, actively contributing expertise to meet team commitments. You will work with Development Team to Identify, propose, prioritize and implement test plans. 

Additionally, you will manage and maintain the releases of our products to ensure every release happens in a timely manner with a high level of quality. 

Responsibilities 

• You are responsible for monitoring the quality of the software of the wireless presentation and collaboration products. 
• You validate the features developed by the other scrum team members and make sure the Definition Of Done is applied. 
• You support continuous integration by automating test cases - all automated tests are written in Python and are running on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux). 
• You help propagate Test Driven Development principles. 
• You share tools and practices with your test development colleagues. 
• Be hands-on in planning and running necessary tests, identifying and tracing issues and driving issues to resolution, and communicating product QA status to everyone. 
• Create and support QA & release pipelines. 
• Comfortable working closely with product managers and developers in an agile environment. 
• Take care the quality of quaterly firmware relase 
• Issue management specially that comes from our partners/customers. 
• Debug: Collect and analyse logs to help developer narrow down scope/step 

Requirements 

• Fluent in English. 
• Network communication (TCP/UDP/…) and related security (SSL).  
• Embedded software.  
• At least 8 years experience in an SDET/QA Engineer role. 
• Willing to travel if necessary
• Experience in manual testing of Web & Mobile (iOS and Android) platforms. 
• Experience using and integrating with standard development tools in your QA workflow such as Git or SVN and Bug tracking tools such as Pivotal Tracker or JIRA. 
• Good problem solving, communication, and prioritization skills. 
• Not afraid to identify inefficient processes and suggest creative solutions. 
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
• Excellent ability to understand software requirements and specifications. 
• Be able to test both functional and technical requirements. 
• Be thorough and dedicated to quality. 
• Self-driven with ability to work in a structured and meticulous way without guidance. 
• Strong analytical skills. 
• Strong knowledge about best practice software testing methodology and tools. 
• Be able to identify opportunities for innovation to improve quality.
