Account Manager - Meeting Experience

This strategic sales position requires an in-depth knowledge of how BARCO technology is used to enable business goals. It requires strategic thinking coupled with tactical execution of identified business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing all facets of the relationship with key partners and end customers while ensuring revenue goals are being met.

The Account Manager focus is to act as a liaison and representing Barco with its partners (Distributors and allocated reseller partners) and is responsible for building, maintaining and managing long-term relationships with current and prospective partners.

The Account Manager will be responsible to provide partners with quotations, new business opportunities and product/technical information updates. Overall, the Account Manager will serve as one of the key contact points for IT and AV reseller partners, marshalling Barco’s sales and technical resources to help grow revenue.

 

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and sales support to the distributors and reseller network
  • Achieve assigned revenue and order targets
  • Sales and order forecasting
  • Build/manage pipeline with regular cadence reviews
  • Select/recruit/onboard partners based on pre-agreed and confirmed business criteria
  • Assist to execute Barco Connect partner program
  • Follow up BARCO marketing campaign leads
  • Drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, business prospecting, pipeline management.
  • Work with partners internal departments (depending on the business needs)
  • Work with the marketing dept to increase Barco’s marketing capability and impact
  • Work with Pre-sales departments to ensure total solution offering
  • Maximize Partner pricing policy adherence and manage special price processes (deal registration, RFQ, tenders, ...)
  • Support/coach sales team of the Partner, in the development of key opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Channel Account Manager on the creation of go to market strategies
  • Responsible for upholding Barco’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
  • Local and Interstate travel may be required
  • Other duties upon request
