A test & automation engineer is responsible to demonstrate extensive understanding and proficient skills in all related areas viz. manual testing, automation testing & test case design-development. This employee is a key contributor that participates during feature grooming & testing phases. This position will work closely with other team members to meet the agile software testing requirements as well as effectively addressing unique requirements as they arise. A test & automation engineer is expected to cooperate with colleagues and workgroups, practice on-going self-development and demonstrate behaviors that are aligned with the Company's vision, mission and values statements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Work with very energetic global Projection team to define the way people will experience projector in future
•    Be responsible for automation and manual testing and quality of our Projection product portfolio. 
•    Perform system, regression, and performance testing to ensure delivery of high-quality system.
•    Coordinate with other location team for work package
•    Understanding, driving, and optimizing release processes for product
•    Functional and non-functional test case design and development.
•    To write unit test cases (functional & performance)
•    Continuous Integration through Jenkins
•    Build Automation

About the Successful Candidate-

Preferred Skills and Experience:
•    B.Tech./B.E/M.Tech /MCA in computer science or equivalent stream.
•    Desired Exp. Range 4 years to 7 years.

Skills must have:
•    UI & API automation testing experience using - Python
•    Strong OOPS knowledge 
•    Test script design and development
•    Testing design approaches (BDD, TDD)
•    Experience in automating complex desktop application
•    Domain knowledge of video and Image testing 
•    Experience in using Windows, Mac and Linux platforms
•    Experience with Agile development Methodology (SCRUM)
•    Strong team player with multi-cultured geographically distributed teams exp
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Exposure to open source and freeware tools
•    Ability to deal with ambiguity and identify/communicate areas for improvement within existing environment
 

Nice to have:
•    TortoiseSVN and GIT
•    Selenium
