SAP Functional Analyst - Sales & Distribution (OTC)

The Business Enablement group is a key driver of Digital transformation for Barco Business functions – Sales, Service, Marketing, Manufacturing & Logistics and Corporate functions.  The business enablement group creates solutions across SAP and Salesforce technologies which empowers our different business units.

About the role

 

As a SAP Functional Analyst, you will lead Barco into the future by translating system requirements related to Sales & Distribution into the design and configuration of SAP systems in an agile environment. You will be responsible to transform vital business needs into SAP processes and drive innovation. You will be part of the functional team responsible for SAP ECC migration towards S4HANA in the near future.  Key Responsibilities

 

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate as-is business processes for warehouse management.
  • Designs to-be business processes for warehouse management based global template and best practices.
  • Configure and maintain the relevant ECC components related to SAP SD & CS (including documentation)
  • Create and manage SAP project tracks to implement or deploy capabilities as required: blueprints, gap analysis, end-to-end process design, testing strategy, cutover plans, training, etc.
  • Perform or manage production support of SAP business processes as needed.
  • Warehouse, distribution, and transportation logistics business process knowledge and experience as well as compliance and documentation.
  • Additional support in the Customer Service module.  
  • With Architects, experts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate those needs into concise user stories, backlog items with detailed requirements and implement them with the scrum team.
  • You investigate problems in the search for the root cause and the solution(s) within your areas of responsibility.
  • You can effectively communicate skills and knowledge to close communication gaps through proper channels.
  • You can easily integrate into a (virtual) team and work autonomously.

 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

 

  • B.E./ B.Tech/M.Sc.
  • SAP Experience of 5yrs -10yrs  and functional solution knowledge in SAP SD(OTC) and Exposure to SAP CS module hand. SAP certification preferred.
  • Business process Mapping and Documentation knowledge.
  • Experience in setting up the Sales and Distribution processes in SAP like Quotation, Sales Order, Delivery, Billing, Commercial Invoice, etc.
  • Capability of Configuring the Credit Management process and Configuration of Automatic credit control.
  • Experience in EDI Integration and Workflow.
  • Integration knowledge with Customer service (repair sales, warranty).
  • Integration experience with MM, FI, and GTS specifically.
  • Exhaustive knowledge of SD pricing and its integration with Customer service.
  • Expertise in Interacting with end-user and taking their inputs for any new requirement.
  • Minimum of 1 end-to-end implementation and hands-on experience in SAP OTC/SD domain.
  • Has excellent analytical skills and is able to present an analysis in a clear and concise way to key stakeholders.
  • Has the necessary agile mindset & cooperative skills to get things done.
  • Fluent oral and written English skills.
