 Cloud infrastructure group at Barco is committed to provide business scalability while consolidating cloud resources and enabling a variety of Barco services to share the same infrastructure without compromising each other’s data. This group utilizes services offered by multiple cloud vendors, AWS Azure, and provides a smooth and consistent experience to all Barco cloud services interms of infrastructure, observability, security and reliability.

 About the Role

 As a SDE cloudops, you are responsible for performing a wide array of of IT duties in an individual and a team based capacity. Role requires maintaining reliable, fault tolerant infrastructure and 24X7 application availability and monitoring. This also requires closely working with application teams while supporting them with their day to day tasks and service requests across different environments.

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain, monitor and manage mission critical cloud environments and applications in a mission critical 24x7 environment.
• Deploy new releases as/when requested by application teams.
• Support different application teams in there day to day tasks and service requests.
• Monitoring the health of infrastructure, deployed services and report any application alerts/errors.
• Colloborate with application teams during triage and resolution of operation issues.
• Adapt to any new changes in the technology and infrastructure used with in the organization.
• Required to monitor the staging, development and production environments, and if necessary, troubleshoot to resolve and or escalate any system, application or operational issues.
• Responsible for opening, updating, providing status and closing tickets.
• Performs diagnostic / assessment functions to include the determination and the execution of corrective actions(s) on real-time basis.

 About the Successful Candidate

 A successful candidate is expected to be having stronig technical background through education and handson experience on platforms and services offered by public cloud vendors like AWS, AZure. Candiate needs to be flexible to operate in shifts and willing to provide support over week-ends as well.

 Preferred Skills and Experience

• B.Tech./B.E in computer science or equivalent stream.
• Desired Exp. range 2 years to 4 years.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills.

• Excellent team players.
• Attitue to learn new skill and work on stretched goals.

 Must have skills

• Expertise in CI/CD.
• Expertise in ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Handson experience in Docker, Kubernetes.
• Handson experience in vesion controls systems like Git, Bibucket.
• Handsof experience in Terraform.
• Handson experience with multiple cloud vendors AWS, Azure.
• Knowledge in SQL and NOSQL DB (mongo, cosmos, etc.)

Skills nice to have 

• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to python, golang.
