The function
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Electronics to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and maintenance of high-speed digital electronic systems.
You will work throughout the complete product lifecycle, from concept and architecture definition to product validation, manufacturing support, and maintenance of existing hardware platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in high-speed digital design with practical experience in FPGA-based systems, microcontrollers, component selection, and hardware lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on high-speed control electronics and control boards for fans, and latest Audio and Video interfaces. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop reliable, efficient, and high-performance electronic solutions that help deliver innovative entertainment systems.
In This Role, You Will
- Design high-speed digital electronic circuits and multilayer PCBs for entertainment systems.
- Create schematics and support PCB development using Siemens Xpedition.
- Simulate the circuits in PSpice or LTSpice.
- Perform SI/PI analysis in Siemens Hyperlynx.
- Develop robust hardware architectures for complex electronic subsystems involving FPGA and microcontroller-based designs.
- Design and integrate high-speed interfaces such as DDR memory, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, Display Ports, and other serial communication interfaces.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB design reviews, and signal integrity assessments.
- Collaborate closely with FPGA engineers and support FPGA-based hardware implementations.
- Contribute to microcontroller-based system design, debugging, and validation activities.
- Select electronic components based on technical performance, availability, cost, and product lifecycle considerations.
- Monitor component longevity, availability, and obsolescence risks using Silicon Expert and other lifecycle management tools.
- Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, verification, and system-level validation during development.
- Work closely with software, FPGA, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Ensure designs meet EMC, EMI, reliability, safety, and quality requirements.
- Support transition from development to manufacturing and production.
- Maintain, improve, and support legacy hardware platforms used in existing product lines.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 – 6 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
- Proven experience designing high-speed digital electronics.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI design principles.
- Experience developing hardware platforms based on FPGAs and/or microcontrollers.
- Good working knowledge of HDLs and FPGA development flows.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
- Good knowledge of electronic components, including selection, qualification, sourcing, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Practical experience in system debugging, validation, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with DDR memory architectures, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, Display Port and other high-speed interfaces.
- Familiarity with simulation, timing analysis, and signal integrity tools.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT).
- Programming experience in Python, C, or C# for test automation and debugging.
- Experience working in high-reliability or industrial electronics environments.
- Proficient in English to collaborate successfully in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
