We’re looking for an ELS (Engineering Logistic Support) and Labelling Specialist to help us streamline engineering logistics, manage technical documentation (BOMs, Engineering Changes, NPI Logistic meeting…), and ensure consistent and compliant labelling across our product portfolio.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to support the lifecycle of innovative display technologies for medical and industrial applications.
Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us maintain operational excellence and deliver products that meet the expectations of professionals who rely on Barco’s technology every day.
Key Responsibility
- Manage and maintain Engineering Logistic Support (ELS) processes to ensure smooth coordination between R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Handle technical documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and support New Product Introduction (NPI) logistics meetings.
- Ensure accurate and compliant product labelling across the entire product portfolio, in line with regulatory and quality standards.
- Support the lifecycle of innovative display technologies by providing logistical and documentation expertise.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to uphold traceability, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Maintain high standards of precision and clarity in all engineering logistics and labelling activities.

The ideal candidate demonstrates engineering fundamentals, a structured and goal-oriented mindset, and excels in cross-functional teamwork. This role demands fluency in English, a global perspective. A proactive attitude, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries are key to success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Alternatively, a technical diploma combined with 2 to 5 years of experience in similar roles will also be considered.
- Experience: >2 years of relevant experience in an similar roles.
- Engineering Logistics Management: Expertise in coordinating Engineering Logistic Support (ELS) processes across cross-functional teams.
- Technical Documentation: Skilled in handling Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) logistics.
- Product Labelling Compliance: Ensuring accurate and regulation-compliant labelling across diverse product lines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective communication and coordination with R&D, manufacturing, and quality departments.
- Lifecycle Support for Display Technologies: Providing documentation and logistical support for innovative display solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Maintaining high standards of precision and clarity in all documentation and labelling activities.
- Regulatory and Quality Standards: Understanding of compliance requirements and quality assurance processes.
- ERP Systems: Proficient in SAP and LN (IBM Notes) for managing logistics and documentation workflows.
- Languages: Fluent in Italian and English, enabling effective communication in international environments.
