Project Manager

Barco Healthcare is looking for a Project Manager to support healthcare products across their full lifecycle, from early feasibility and concept phases through new product introduction and into mass‑production maintenance.
In this role, you will coordinate projects that span pre‑study activities, new product introduction, and lifecycle support. You act as the connecting link between project execution, technical development, and medical compliance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in line with quality and regulatory expectations.
This position reports to the Project Management Team Lead and operates in close collaboration with Product Management, R&D, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Service teams.
Typical day at work would look like:
- Planning and monitoring projects across different lifecycle phases.
- Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality objectives.
- Ensuring transparent communication , tracking technical progress and regular status reporting to stakeholders and management.
- Identiying project dependencies, managing risks and their mitigations, and escalate when necessary.
- Being the primary project interface with all project stakeholders, including leading the R&D activities
- Guiding in technical decision‑making by collaborating on inputs from engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Being on top with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR).
- Support ing and contributing to required documentation
- Ensure that compliance considerations are integrated throughout project execution, from pre‑study through maintenance.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals (time, cost, scope, quality)
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and documentation is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English & Preferably also Italian; open to occasional travel.
