Senior Repair Specialist

As a Senior Repair Specialist, the candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all kinds of products in the Barco healthcare portfolio.

 

Responsibilities and Main activities:

  • Delivery customer services at all times with strong engagement 
  • Ensure all works orders within the SLA agreement
  • In the first period, support the Service Manager with the transfer project and ensure that it will be completed by the due date.
  • Maintain the stock control records of goods and spares parts
  • Following and executing trouble shooting using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.  
  • Reporting and administration of the carried out operations and activities, via SAP/ Salesforce
  • Work safely complying with procedures and keep system and surrounding floor space clean and free from obstructions
  • Contribute to workflow improvement, planning and scheduling activities.
  • Provide training and assistance to other colleagues (other service centers/help desk team..), when required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Formal Education & Certification

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and 3 years work experience in related field.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Experience in repairing and reworking of electronic boards
  • Natural propensity for precision manual work gained through experience in the electronics sector
  • Ability to diagnose and to perform failure analysis
  • Understanding schematic drawings to identify faulty components, and  troubleshoot systems
  • Willing to do some occasional travel
