Responsibilities

  1. Work with distribution partners to develop cohesive tactical and strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  2. Forming a strategic alliance partnership with other eco-partners in JGTM initiatives
  3. Work with Senior Management to evaluate sales channel efficiency throughout the region on an ongoing basis and make changes where appropriate
  4. Determine market strategies and goals for each product and service; understanding the strategies, goals and objectives of assigned territories
  5. Oversee new distributor onboarding as well as ongoing training for existing partners
  6. Conduct sales calls, seminars, workshops, and presentations for current and potential customers throughout the region in partnership with our distributors
  7. Define and execute yearly partner business plans. Set-up Quarterly Business Review
  8. Support/coach sales team of the Partner, in the development of key opportunities
  9. Follow up on partner pipeline/funnel and forecast
  10. Re-assess yearly the Partner’s performance and capabilities and take corrective actions
  11. Partner with internal and external teams and channels to develop creative technical solutions to improve Barco’s footprint and Customer dependent in account
  12. Managing a team of sales professionals in the assigned region by owning and exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory with the team.
  13. Hunt new end customers and / or new contacts at different levels of the targeted account.
  14. Support lead generation via Shows/ Demonstrations/ sales floor engagement etc.
  15. Market the company, ensuring that the organisation receives positive exposure to enhance the brand image in the region.
  16. Following up on leads identified at end customer level by the Business development team or coming from the consultant team : Analyze the customers needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  17. Provide and achieve meaningful consolidated sell in forecast from Partners’ Regions on a monthly base as per Barco financial forecasting methodology. Own and deliver on sales forecast to ensure close follow-up.
  18. Drive the partner sales teams to uncovered accounts and sales oppty’s by identifying and listing accounts which are not currently in the Barco sales funnel, aligning the Partner sales organization to work with Barco on said accounts, and facilitate a functional sales model including but not limited to Partner Sales Reps, Barco BDR’s, sales engineers, to move an oppty into the Barco sales funnel and close business.
  19. Monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence to Sales management and Segment marketing.

 
Experiences

  1.  Bachelor's or Master's degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. 7-10 years of proven sales experience in the related industry/technologies.
  3. Strong and assured communication and presentation skills, able to gain personal credibility with client managers.
  4. Able to work across organizational and international boundaries.
  5. High-level sales negotiating skills with outstanding relationship-building abilities. 
  6. Good English communication skills
