Presales Engineer

We are looking for a Presales Engineer to join our EMEA Presales team. 

As a Presales Engineer you will be an expert in delivering our valued ClickShare experience with simplicity and ease-of-use. You are responsible to support the sales organisation and the partners/customers with expert know-how on the Barco ClickShare product line through training, demonstration and technical expertise that support the conversations throughout the customer journey. As a liaison between Sales, Service and Product Management, you also collect key customers and user insights and feed them back to the product base.


Key responsibilities:


  • As a Presales Engineer, you support the sales teams with answers to technical and commercial “specialist” questions. You are the go-to person for specific questions related to product specs, use and performance.
  • You support the sales teams in trade-shows, product demos, shoot-outs & the sales process by taking ownership of the best practice in setup of the ClickShare solution.
  • You are able to provide product presentations and trainings to our customers, partners and consultants.
  • You translate customer requirements towards a technical solution leveraging your product expertise and IT (security) domain knowledge
  • You assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals for international tenders.
  • You help customers plan and understand the best ways to utilize and integrate the Clickshare Solution within their network and IT infrastructure.
  • You collect insights and feedback on our products from customers and partners and feed them back to the product managers and R&D teams – you actively follow-up critical deployments and issues ensuring the right priorities are set.
  • You proactively support and communicate towards customers and partners with the adequate level of information on new products or product updates.
  • You work on multiple customer accounts simultaneously and in an international environment. 

We are looking for a new colleague who...


  • Has a degree in Engineering or equivalent industry qualifications.
  • Has 3-5 years’ experience in a similar job / role.
  • Has a technical understanding of AV technology within meeting rooms, and networking knowledge of AV over IP ecosystems. 
  • An Avixa CTS certification and/or technical certifications from Poly, Cisco, Microsoft are a strong plus. 
  • Has excellent presentation and communications skills (oral & written). You are able to bring a message in a very clear and understandable way
  • Has a commercial mind-set and is a problem solver
  • Is flexible - willing to travel when required
  • Operating from Stockholmn Office or from home within Sweden (Role covers the Nordics)
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish & English – other languages are an asset.
