Purpose of the job:

Due to our continued growth, Barco is expanding its worldwide sales organization in Nordics

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record to join our sales team as Territory Manager (Sales Manager) for Nordics market to:

  • Prospect, identify and develop Control Rooms solution related opportunities in targeted markets and accounts.
  • Build a network, Develop & Maintain relationship with partners, system integrators, end users & consultants in order to detect and influence the opportunities at an early stage.
  • Be a trusted advisor on the Control Rooms and related technologies.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage processes for creating quotes, managing sales cycle in CRM, developing and negotiating proposals, and commercial agreements. Likewise, track business opportunities and performance of the sales funnel in addition to providing  regular forecasting, market intelligence and competitive analysis to Sales Management , Segment marketing and product management
  • Maximize opportunity conversion rate by supporting local partners and customers through the different sales stages, with both commercial and technical advice. Translate the customer needs into Barco winning solutions and offerings.
  • Work closely together with different teams within the organization like Product management and technical experts in addition to working on multiple projects simultaneously and in an international environment. 
  • Provide guidance to field marketing on best possibilities to reach the communities
  • Participate in regular training from Barco HQ in Belgium and assist and participate in trade shows and events within the region

 

Who are we looking for?

Education: 

  • Bachelor or Master degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: 

  • 7-10  years of proven sales experience in related industry/technologies (Experiences in understanding and selling solutions including Software is a plus)


Competencies: 

  • Commercial experience in project, value and  solution sales
  • Strong experience in in working with a network of end users, consultants, system integrators and partners. 
  • Prospecting Skills: eager to hunt new end customers and / or new contacts at different levels of the targeted account.
  • Ability to combine commercial and technical skills whereby continuous learning is key.
  • Has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • A highly driven individual, possessing initiative and a willingness ‘to go that extra mile’, Incumbent is goal oriented with a sense of urgency 
  • High level sales negotiator with outstanding relationship building abilities. 
  • Able to articulate the benefits of the products to end-customers ;  is fully conversant with professional sales techniques 
  • A strong and assured communicator and presenter, who is able to gain personal credibility with client managers. 

  • Can adopt a disciplined and organised approach in regards to his travel, CRM pipeline management and lead answers. 

  • Used to work in a matrix environment. Can effectively work across organisational and national boundaries. 

  • Possesses a self-assured and outgoing personality with the ability and adaptability to work practically, reliably and flexibly, without the need for on-going support.

  • Fluency in Scandinavian languages. Ability to work effectively with English as language, spoken and written
