Software Engineer

 We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our healthcare solutions meet the highest quality standards, satisfy customer needs, and comply with industry regulations. The STE Engineer will perform comprehensive validation and testing of our recent developments, identify potential issues, and ensure our products deliver optimal performance. In addition to performing Quality Assurance tasks, the successful candidate will establish and foster a QA community of practice, promoting best practices and embedding quality into the development lifecycle. 

   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing to ensure quality and compliance with healthcare standards. 

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. 

  • Identify, document, and resolve bugs and inconsistencies through close collaboration with developers. 

  • Align testing efforts with customer expectations and simulate user scenarios to validate usability, accessibility, and product reliability. 

  • Define, document, and implement robust QA processes and introduce tools for automated testing and continuous integration. 

  • Mentor team members in QA methodologies and establish platforms to share knowledge and improve quality practices. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide detailed QA reports, metrics, and documentation to stakeholders. 

  

Competence: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fields. 

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries. 

  • Proficiency with QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail), automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g. DICOM) is highly advantageous. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities. 

  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment with complex projects.
