Test Development Engineer

Position Description

1. Develop product testing program needed with the processes in place.
2. Work closely with local RD & foreign software engineer to resolve testing program issues for daily production on time.
3. Define & execute testing tool and testing program validation process to under build reproducibility.
4. Manage & calibrate the optical measurement equipment.
5. Work with Production, QA and RD to resolve technical issues on the products.
6. Support the New Product Introduction and assure a seamless product transfer into the mass-production flow.
7. Develop work instructions & training content & other necessary docs required.
8. Other jobs assigned by the team leader.

Education:

• Bachelor degree, preferably major in electronic engineering/electronic communications/ mechatronics.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Display industry is plus.

Competencies:

• Proficient in electronic products testing and failure analysis
• Testing software and testing program development experience.
• Good knowledge on:

• Display, PCBA testing and circuit diagram
• Computer language like C/C++, C#, VB.
• Familiar with server like SQL, Oracle, MySQL is a plus.

• Good written & spoken English abilities.
• Good initiative results oriented.
• Good communication & problem-solving skills, ability to influence people around.
• Know-how of reporting languages (Minitab, 6 Sigma, Crystal reporting…).
