The position enables Barco APAC regional Sales Teams to prospect, evaluate and qualify opportunities, present Barco products and services to their Partners and End User customers. Also, this role will be responsible for the activation of the partner sales organizations throughout Japan and APAC enabling them to present and demonstrate the Barco Healthcare Division's Imaging, Value Propositions to key prospective End User Hospitals, Imaging Centers, and other care facilities.

  1. Managing a team of sales professionals in the assigned region by owning and exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory with the team.
  2. Hunt new end customers and / or new contacts at different levels of the targeted account.
  3. Support lead generation via Shows/ Demonstrations/ sales floor engagement etc.
  4. Market the company, ensuring that the organisation receives positive exposure to enhance the brand image in the region.
  5. Following up on leads identified at end customer level by the Business development team or coming from the consultant team : Analyze the customers needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  6. Provide and achieve meaningful consolidated sell in forecast from Partners’ Regions on a monthly base as per Barco financial forecasting methodology. Own and deliver on sales forecast to ensure close follow-up.
  7. Drive the partner sales teams to uncovered accounts and sales oppty’s by identifying and listing accounts which are not currently in the Barco sales funnel, aligning the Partner sales organization to work with Barco on said accounts, and facilitate a functional sales model including but not limited to Partner Sales Reps, Barco BDR’s, sales engineers, to move an oppty into the Barco sales funnel and close business.
  8. Monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence to Sales management and Segment marketing.




  1. Bachelor or Master degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. 7-10 years of proven sales experience in related industry/technologies.
  3. Strong and assured communicating and presentings skills, able to gain personal credibility with client managers.
  4. Able to work across organisational and international boundaries.
  5. High level sales negotiating skills with outstanding relationship building abilities.
