Channel Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic Sales initiatives. Focusing on managing inbound and outbound sales activities, building relationships with prospects and existing customers, and driving revenue growth through effective communication and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and effective sales strategies to promote our products/services and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
There are 4 primary responsibilities for this role:
- Act as the primary sales first point of contact for assigned Distribution partner.
- Respond to Inside sales inquiries from Distribution, Reseller partners, events & website and proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and online channels (50%)
- Manage Named Accounts (25%)
- Qualify leads, understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, follow up with appropriate actions (15%)
- Key person to conduct demos, training for New and existing partners on the Connect Partner Program (10%)
Others
- Act as the primary sales first point of contact for assigned Distribution partner.
- Respond to Inside sales inquiries from Distribution, Reseller partners, events & website and proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and online channels.
- Manage and grow named assigned reseller accounts.
- Qualify leads, understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, follow up with appropriate actions.
- Key person to conduct demos, training for New and existing partners on the Connect Partner Program
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing Distribution, Re-seller and End-User accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver sales quotes, proposals, demo requests and presentations.
- Oversee the company “Try and Buy” demo program
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, events, networking, and market research.
- Focus on providing Sales Support to our Bronze level partners. Meet with customers where required
- Use Salesforce and other tools to track interactions, manage pipelines, and report on sales performance.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Attend Key events and Partner Trade shows.
- Be a Team player and support the Sales Team when needed.
- Collaborate with marketing to align strategies and share insights and feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 5-8+yrs proven experience in Sales roles.
- Existing Industry relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Industry-specific knowledge is a plus, e.g., Technology, meeting space, video conferencing, B2B Channel Sales
- Proficiency in Salesforce
