Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Time study and capacity analysis. Supervise and guide the formulation and maintenance of standard working hours.
2. Create capacity planning & investment planning according to sales forecast.
3. Execute the PDCA cycle on plant and line Layout design & optimization with Lean concept, predict performance of design, review actual outcome, and define countermeasures to stakeholders.
4. Responsible for updating layout plan aligning with actual status.
5. Find/challenge existing process wastes/weaknesses to pursue higher performance. Continuously promote the optimization of production line efficiency, process, logistics, machine operation, etc.,
6. Develop industrial operation standards for manufacturing processes. Create and maintain process data in MES to ensure operations financial performance transparent and predictable in management system.
7. Support production/process team for the validation of new machinery/tools in production, revalidation for current of adapted machinery/tools in production for new and existing products.
8. Align with BE colleagues and local production team.
9. Other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experiences.

Competencies:

• Familiar with IE tools such as CT study, SMED, Pull & leveling, VSM, etc.
• Knowledge of assembly processes.
• Familiar with AutoCAD.
• Good communication skills.
• Good English abilities both in oral & written.
• Strong personality able to convince, influence & push back or escalate where needed throughout the organization.
• Analytical thinking with self-initiatives & Positive working attitude.
• Experience in Lean, six sigma and continuous improvement is a plus.
