Logistics Specialist

The role of the Logistics Specialist is to execute logistics and distribution activities. Gather and coordinate for the necessary shipping documentations to release or deliver the international or domestic shipments till the successful receipt at the destination end. Follow up the shipment billings in a timely & accurate manner. Set up performance KPIs and continuous improvement actions. Understand SAP master data and maintain the relevant shipping information on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Import and export shipments with required documentations, further improve hazardous goods transportation management, e.g. product with battery.
2. Coordinate for customs clearance. Ensure all documents for the imported/exported goods comply with all customs laws and regulations.
3. Track & execute daily requirements on international & domestic transportations.
4. Coordinate and trace shipments to ensure pick-ups and deliveries are done on time. Work together with other functions to regularly update & track shipment plan for important project/key components. Update the relevant database and network.
5. Create KPI report regularly as required. Work with the relevant functions/teams to define & execute the improvement plans over cost, efficiency, etc.
6. Set up & maintain SAP master data, process the traffic orders in the system on time. Cooperate with global logistics team to update the logistic cost in SAP.
7. Select, monitor, manage & improve logistics suppliers to ensure the best performance to support daily operations.
8. Other tasks assigned by the team leader.

Education:

• Bachelor degree or above, prefer in science/engineering/Logistics field.

Experience:

• 5 years or above of experience over logistics & transportation areas.

Competencies:

• Good English ability both in writing & speaking.
• Open minded, quick learner.
• Being responsible and detail oriented.
• Familiar with SAP system & relevant operation experience will be a plus.
