Planner

Planner works alongside manufacturing teams, cross-functional stakeholders as well as the external suppliers to provide the master plan of schedule for the respective shop and to support meeting those production & order delivery goals. At critical milestones, the planner is required to report on the results, maintain metrics and escalate any reasons hindering achievement of said objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze demand from customers & relevant stakeholders, convert demand into supply needs.
• Monitor stocks of finished goods and purchased materials with cross-functional team collaborations.
• Follow-up on the product supply from introduction (new product introduction) till EOL (end of life).
• Maintain accurate open Work Order lines to define target build quantities, identify system demand or BOM issues, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of system data.
• Support maintenance of MRP master data parameters to ensure accurate signals for quantity and dates generated by MRP (i.e. production lead time, lot size, safety stock, etc.) to minimize excess.
• Assist with inventory control activities.
• Other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualification & Competencies:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3~5 years production planning experience.
• Good team work spirit & communication skills, be meticulous.
• Result oriented & has a structured approach.
• Good oral & written English ability.
• Good computer skills with adequate operational background. 
• SAP SCM/APO knowhow to be sufficient for the job fulfillment.
