Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that field and internally quality issues are resolved using professional problem-solving methods, including tear down inspection, test design, possible causes analysis and validation, improvement close loop follow up etc. 
• Act as a quality role for NPI & transfer projects. Proactively collaborate with all internal stakeholders, analyze risks, provide advice and make sound judgement in granting project/product milestones.
• Make overall product quality control plan to ensure the product quality matches to the required standards and regulations.
• Maintain uniformity in process/procedures/working practices.
• Contribute to quality improvement programs, projects, audits. Keep continuous improvement thinking and action within Barco.
• Motivate & train the teams to be Quality oriented.
• IQC support when needed.
• Other tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.

Education:

• Bachelor's or above in a technical field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Auditor (ISO9001 or IATF16949) certificates will be a plus.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in electronic industry.
• Familiar with projector or other similar products will be a plus.
