Key Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager Nordics, you will:
  • Coordinate and execute the realization of the Sales targets in the region,
  • Develop the Barco Healthcare business in the region for medical systems in radiology, mammography, pathology and other clinical specialties,
  • Meet and exceed Profit Plan targets for the Nordics territory. Create and execute the strategic plan for the region,
  • Become the face of Barco to both the channel partners and the end-user community in line with the B2B strategy,
  • Generate end-user “pull” and create visibility and awareness of the Barco Healthcare offering in the region (evangelize and hunt for new business),
  • Perform value selling for the Barco Healthcare products; this includes delivering presentations to audiences of one or many, prospecting, promoting, and carrying out demonstrations both to the channel partners and to the end user community,
  • Develop programs for increasing sales, as well in terms of hunting as farming. Organize regional sales activities such as channel events, promotions, sales training, sales meetings,
  • Manage sales funnels, opportunity tracking, quotation generation and follow-up, in a very structured and timely manner,
  • Report on the status of diagnostic in the Nordics region: orders, sales, strategic action programs, competitive situation, funnel health, etc
  • Escalate business critical issues to senior management, propose action plans and organize execution follow-up with the assigned responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague who...
  • Has credentials for successful B-to-B business development in the (medical) market,
  • Has understanding of medical market (radiology, mammography, pathology,…)  is a plus,
  • Is experienced in performing clinical and technical demonstrations is a plus,
  • IT knowledge is a plus
  • Has a hunter mindset
  • Is willing to travel within the Nordics region up to 75% of the time
  • Has a strategic insight and vision, ability to build strategic and operational plans
  • Has problem solving and planning skills
  • Has strong commercial, communication and networking skills
  • Has an open and dynamic personality to discuss with customers, understand their requirements, and can report back into the organization to “make it happen’’
