Sales Manager - Surgical Imaging

Location: 

Bracknell, Berkshire, GB

In this role, you will play a key role in driving Barco’s commercial growth by expanding and professionalizing our reseller ecosystem, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening the market position of our solutions. You combine a strong hunter mindset with the ability to build long-term partnerships, enabling both partners and end customers to fully realize the value of Barco’s technology.

 

Success in this role requires solid experience in the Medical, Surgical and OR‑Integration environment, allowing you to engage credibly with clinical stakeholders, integrators, and specialized resellers, and to position Barco’s solutions with confidence in complex healthcare settings.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Actively promote and sell Barco solutions to end customers through both existing and newly established reseller networks
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within defined markets and strategic accounts
  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets while driving sustainable market penetration
  • Follow up on end-customer leads originating from Business Development or consultants by assessing customer needs, preparing value-driven proposals, and ensuring an excellent customer experience

Partner & Channel Management

  • Build, structure, and expand a high-quality reseller ecosystem aligned with Barco’s go-to-market strategy
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage new resellers as the primary point of contact, including joint business planning, setting performance and investment objectives, and leading quarterly business reviews
  • Activate and empower existing resellers in line with the target plan, in close collaboration with the designated Account Manager
  • Take full ownership of partner support and related opportunities across the reseller network

Commercial & Technical Enablement

  • Provide expert commercial and technical guidance to partners to ensure correct product specification and strong solution positioning, particularly within Medical, Surgical, and OR Integration environments
  • Deliver proactive product training sessions and updates to selected channel partners
  • Support lead generation through events, demonstrations, and on-site customer engagement

Pipeline, Forecasting & Operations

  • Coordinate the effective distribution and follow-up of leads across the reseller network
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity data within the CRM system
  • Provide reliable, consolidated monthly sell-in forecasts in alignment with Barco’s forecasting methodology

Market Intelligence & Brand Positioning

  • Strengthen Barco’s brand presence and ensure consistent, positive market visibility within the region
  • Track market dynamics and technological trends, proactively sharing insights with Sales Management and Segment Marketing

 

 

Your profile

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5–7 years of proven sales experience within a relevant industry or technology environment
  • Demonstrated experience in Medical, Surgical, and OR Integration environments, enabling effective interaction with healthcare providers, integrators, and clinical decision-makers

Commercial Drive & Results Orientation

  • Strong hunter mentality with a clear drive to open doors and engage new contacts at multiple levels
  • Proven ability to achieve results, combining a proactive sales approach with sustainable relationship development
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with a natural ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with diverse customer stakeholders
  • Ability to engage effectively with different profiles, including clinical, technical, and commercial audiences
  • Comfortable operating across organizational, cultural, and geographical boundaries
