The IX Business Unit is looking for an NPI Project Manager, who is driven by a desire to lead, be challenged, and grow. We are looking for skills in questioning the norm, thinking out- of-the box, and delivering.

As the NPI Project Manager, you have the end-to-end project management accountability, from the business case approval to the release for mass production. You successfully manage your projects within the agreed specifications, schedule, product cost and budget. As the primary interface between all involved stakeholders, you organize all project communication and coordination.

In this position you will report to the NPI Lead of the business unit.

An NPI Manager has an  impactful role , by providing leadership in a decisive, pro-active and goal-oriented way.

 

Key responsibilities

  • You manage the project schedule , making sure that each phase of the projects starts and ends on schedule during the entire project phase
  • You manage the project budget, including development effort, project expenses and capital expenditure, within the set target
  • You follow-up on product cost within set targets
  • You manage product specifications, its reproducibility and product quality
  • You drive your project team and key stakeholders : product management, R&D, product validation, procurement, operations, supply chain, quality and service
  • Your follow up on the project status and communicate status and KPI's to all relevant stakeholders
  • You prepare and lead the stage gates for your project
  • You initiate corrective actions and ensure proper escalation when needed
  • You continuously manage project scope and project risks
  • You are responsible for critical decision-making related to your projects.
  • Occasional travel to your project related sites is desired.


Qualifications

  • You hold a higher degree in Engineering or Business
  • Minimum 2 years of Project Management Experience delivering excellence, ideally in demanding technical environments   
  • You have good analytical skills, are well-organized and like to take initiative
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills
  • You have good communication and presentation skills (written and spoken in English)
  • You are open to travel occasionally
