We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to become a pivotal member of our picture quality team at our Fredrikstad facility.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Embedded Software Engineer at Barco Fredrikstad, your daily work will focus on improving the image quality of our projectors. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the picture quality team to enhance projector imaging.

Working in close partnership with Texas Instruments, the provider of our image devices, ensuring communication and integration of their technologies.

Utilizing specialist tools to update image sequences and perform color tuning.

Developing software to support projectors across various markets, with a primary focus on image quality.

Programming using C++ (versions 11, 14, or 17) and Rust, while adhering to coding standards.

Creating your own test scripts to ensure high-quality delivery within timelines.

Participating in Agile methodologies and collaborating with our multinational teams across Norway, Belgium, USA, China, and India.
Who are we looking for:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Recent graduates or those holding an MSc or BSc relevant to software or electronics development.

Proficiency in developing software in a Linux environment, using C++ (11/14/17).

Familiarity with the GNU toolchain and for those with experience in GIT and Python, this is a plus.

Object-oriented development and a strong quality mindset.
