About Us:
At Nexxis Management System, we're at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions for the medical industry. Our team specializes in creating innovative backend components like NmsPlus, designed to manage and configure various video components within operating rooms. We're driven by the mission to revolutionize the healthcare sector by providing advanced technologies that enhance surgical procedures.
Job Description:
Are you a motivated student looking to make a difference this summer? Join our team at Barco as a Frontend Web Developer. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our sales team by creating a demo tool. Through your work, our colleagues in sales and product management will be able to conduct demos without the need for an actual operating room and its respective components.
Responsibilities:
The task involves reworking an existing web application to function as a demo tool independently of the backend application. This will entail working with the popular JavaScript framework Vue.js, adhering to clean code principles, and conducting unit/component tests to maintain a high standard of work.
What We Offer:
- A supportive and experienced team dedicated to your success, providing guidance and assistance at every step.
- Access to state-of-the-art facilities in our modern building located in Kortrijk, equipped with all necessary amenities.
- Opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals with years of technical expertise and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
- Enrolled as a student in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Vue.js.
- Familiarity with GraphQL API is a plus.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles and software testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English or Dutch and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Availability for at least 3 weeks, ideally 6 weeks, during July, August, and September.
