About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Buyer to support our indirect procurement operations. This role focuses on administrative and operational tasks within indirect procurement, including order processing, contract administration, and supplier follow-up.

The ideal candidate is a fluent communicator with an eye for detail and can quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms and technologies used in a modern business environment.

Within your role you will have frequent contact with your internal stakeholders (finance, requestors, warehousing,...)  and suppliers.

You will report to the Manager Indirect Procurement Team, as part of the Global Procurement Organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing & Follow-up
• Create and manage purchase orders in SAP.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve order-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Administrative Support
• Maintain procurement documentation and records.
• Support category managers with administrative tasks.
• Contract Administration
• Maintain contract databases and ensure contract compliance.
• Assist in contract creation, renewal, and archiving.
• Supplier Communication
• communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and invoicing.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and maintain supplier master data.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field , or similar by experience
• Experience: a first work experience (in procurement) is a benefit but not required. Attitude, motivation and a willingness to learn are key.
• Skills:

• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear and professional way of communication
• Fast adopter of new digital tools and systems
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system is a plus, but not mandatory.
