Our Production Engineering & Industrialization team develops state-of-the-art production processes and testing solutions for newly developed high-tech products. We are currently looking to strengthen our team with an Industrialization Engineer.

As an Industrialization Engineer, you will:

  • Be crucial in developing and automating the configuration, startup, testing, and alignment of our cutting-edge products
  • Influence Barco's future production processes and improve existing ones
  • Make architectural decisions in collaboration with colleagues across the organization
  • Work with teams worldwide to share knowledge and transfer processes between production plants

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for projector testing
  • Write and maintain software for production applications
  • Design, develop, and implement flexible, lean processes and state-of-the-art techniques and tools
  • Influence the design for manufacturability and testability to ensure cost-effective test solutions and smooth production flows
  • Collaborate closely with international R&D and industrialization teams

We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Holds at least a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent education and experience
  • Has strong knowledge of software methodologies and practices
  • Is proficient in programming languages such as C# and Python
  • Additional skills considered a plus:
    • Optical knowledge
    • Basic machine vision knowledge and/or experience
    • Knowledge SQL
    • Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens Tia Portal)
    • Lean Six Sigma knowledge
  • Is proactive, customer-focused, and motivated to work in an international context
  • Is a communicative team player fluent in English and Dutch
  • Occasional travel may be required
