Product Owner

The Product Owner will operate in a team of Product Owners who collectively own the delivery of a system. In this group (s)he will be responsible for delivering market scope, based on input by Product Management, and fully owning system scope, based on input by various stakeholders. The focus will be on the existing platforms (Wave III) and the All-in-One Bar product. For this purpose, the PO will own the backlogs of at least three teams, spread across different locations and cooperate with other teams, whose backlogs are owned by the other POs in the team. All POs report to the System PO, who's the hiring manager and overall Program Manager. The POs own the scope (partly), quality and time, but for cost (people and infrastructure) interface with the team leads.

Prior experience should be either classical project management in complex organizations, or agile practices in reduced organizations, ideally understanding both the flexible nature of SW development and the more rigid nature HW development. Commonly known practices like refinement, slicing, POC/prototype/alpha/beta delivery, apply, but the PO must continuously check outside the box of their team and scope. 

An important aspect of the job is supplier management and internal/external dependency management.

Knowledge of system development in Linux (embedded systems with layered applications) or Android (system/application development) is a bonus. Experience in the AV world or Meeting Experience domain likewise.

The PO must converse and write well in business English. It is a major asset to be native or professionally proficient in Mandarin, because of the supplier management with Taiwan based OEMs.

The PO must be willing to travel when necessary, which is usually between 1-4 times a year outside Taiwan (Belgium/India), more often inside the country but out of the city.
