Engineer Electronics

This position is to perform and enable the design cooperation on Electronics and digital/analog design between R&D teams in Belgium, India, China and our partners. The design tasks are to be performed according to common guidelines and best practices, to prepare the related technical documents & reports on time and quality, and to ensure that the given milestones are being achieved and problems get escalated on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Works together with the R&D teams in China, Belgium and India, and R&D teams at the partners on the development of Image Processing products for LED displays.
• Master the electronics and hardware design and design validation.
• Close cooperation with Optics team to enable/optimize the image quality on different LED/driver platforms.
• Enables a fluent communication between the teams and towards partners.
• To collect/prepare the required documents (documentation and reports) of the electronic design/optimization/integration in time as per the project plan.
• Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Education:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in electronic engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of working experiences for master degree or 8 years for bachelor degree in electronics and digital design or equivalent areas.
• Experience in LED display driving is a plus.

Competencies:

• Has good knowledge on analog and digital design, signal integrity and digital display.
• Be familiar with PCB design tools – Altium designer or similar tools. 
• Be familiar with C, C# or Python and/or MCU/FPGA is a plus.
• Be familiar with measurement devices(e.g. oscillopscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Likes to take initiative, working in close collaboration with local & global teams.
• Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Travelling is required.
