Process Engineer

Job Description:

1. Support the New Product Introduction and assure a seamless introduction of the NPI-product into the mass-production flow.
2. Review R&D designs and concepts in 3D Creo files with regard to manufacturability, design rules, etc.
3. Follow up NPI process to build alfa/beta/zero series products and collect feedback towards R&D.
4. Evaluate feasibility of the R&D design and in collaboration with SQA.
5. Design/order/install specific tooling where needed for production, provide estimates on effort, cost, and lead times.
6. Validation of new tools in production, revalidation for current of adapted tools in production for new and existing products.
7. Align with BE colleagues and local production team.
8. Draft WI's for assembly & Provide training to (train the trainer) production operators.
9. Follow up yield in assembly together with production & QA.
10. Other tasks assigned by the team leader.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent field.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years relevant experiences.
• Experience in (projection) display industry is a plus.

Competencies:

• Solid experiences on mechanical design with the professional software like Pro-E /Creo.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and tolerance analyses.
• Knowledge of validation of tools & processes, ISO13485 knowledge will be a plus.
• knowledge of production technologies (stamping, molding).
• Good communication skills.
• Good English abilities both in oral & written.
• Strong personality able to convince, influence & push back or escalate where needed throughout the organization.
• Analytical thinking with self-initiatives & Positive working attitude.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, ‘motor drives’ and ‘motion systems’ (is a plus).
• Experience in Lean, six sigma and continuous improvement is a plus.
