Test Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, document and implement all product specific tooling, test & alignment equipment in order to test and report the requirements for new product introductions.
• Responsible for maintenance and upgrading of developed test solutions during the production phase as well within the company as with suppliers.
• Influence the design for testability to ensure cost-effective test solutions. Maximize standardization of equipment.
• Provide tooling, maintenance instructions, and test & alignment equipment documentation in accordance with company or program requirements.
• Ensure that test data is locked to further ensure process improvements. These data needs to be easily accessible for consultation (by QA, R&D, …).
• Act as a first line support for production and test issues. Work together with Production, QA and R&D for trouble shooting.
• Develop and maintain work instructions. Define training content and train the trainers.
• Other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Education:

• Bachelor degree or above in engineering field

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of the relevant experiences.
• SAP experience priority.
• Know-how in optics, mechanics and visualization techniques and applications will be a plus.
• Simatic PLC programing is preferred.

Competencies:

• Test software program skills with JAVA, Phyton, C#.
• PLC application, automation equipment integration and validation.
• Knowhow of the standard Microsoft window programs (word, excel, access, power point, SQL server…).
• Knowhow of reporting languages (Minitab/6 Sigma statistical analysis tool, quality tools, etc).
